Golf Swing Tip - Addressing The Golf Ball

A large part, for me, of enjoying myself on the course (and thus playing better) is letting go when something'bad' has happened. If you allow yourself to ruminate over a bad shot, that has a domino effect that can destroy your round. Tension takes hold of your sport, and there is not a thing that seems to go right afterwards. Been there?



Among the biggest problems with golf is that we have too much time to think about it. We have a whole lot of time to consider our next shot while walking down the fairway and of course reflecting on a poor shot we've just hit. It is also an extremely static game because the ball is stationery and we do not immediately respond to a competitor's shot. I.e.. We don't do things instinctively.



Last tip and you'll probably ignore it like most beginner golfers. You really must learn the fundamentals of the golf swing. Take some lessons or receive a training package but do something which will let you develop your swing correctly. Do not take bad advice from your buddies, that doesn't count as training.

Beginners golf tip #2: ensure that your grip is where is should be. You should grip your golf club just above your left hand with your fingers of your right hand (not your palm). Your thumb will be positioned slightly off to the left. Your thumb will be in the eleven o'clock position, relative to your own golf club. The first two knuckles of your left hand will be visible when you have gripped your golf club correctly. In addition, ensure your left hand is totally hidden under your right hand. The place of your index finger on your right hand should look and feel like a gun trigger finger.

When you want to play basketball all you need is' well' a basket, and a ball. But golf requires more equipment than just a ball. Like in any sports, golf gear spins an whole industry and you can find anything from nightclubs to gloves, and they generally come with a wonderful price tag.

Be relaxed at all times. None of us can perform any physical activity while we are tense. Let the swing flow. Try only to get a few specific swing thoughts. Too may swing ideas in your head at any one time is only going to make things harder. Master this one component of the swing and then we can work on improving different aspects of the golf swing in a later stage.
